David Henry Nobody Jr’s solo show on Unit London’s online page, Platform, could not be more relevant right now, as he considers what technology + the internet, means for the physical.
The artist’s work is political, it’s amusing, it’s cutting. Deep rooted satire slices through a visual aesthetic that is fantastically creative and unique.
The collection of objects such as barbie doll heads, pretzels, awards, transforms David into a living collage. His coined term ‘Resemblagè’ a clever portmanteau of ‘resembling’ and ‘collage’, reflects his ambition to let go of himself in order to truly become.
